Today, oh nope, yesterday, felt blue. Besides sitting in my room slowly picking up Visual Basic, Went out to get CD-rom to complete my assignment (but didn't work in the end), take pictures at SilliconValley Computer Mart, came back. Bought 2 books and 2 magazines for ABi.

Sky finally received my parcel, phew~~ It took 1 whole month for that thing to travel and reach her! She said I'm her worm, cause I sent her the rose tea that she wanted badly. Hehe... what a coincident!

JF left this morning when I was still sleeping. My alarm didn't wake me up :( 10am, she's already in Shanghai, complained to have nothing to do, she had 5 hours interval between 2 flights. Me, JF and BH used to have dinner together everynight. But tonight, watermelon was my dinner. I ate alone in my room.

This song is wonderful, I have to memorise the words:

I Honestly Love You
Olivia Newton-John
(Peter Allen/Jeff Barry)

Maybe I hang around here
A little more than I should
We both know I got somewhere else to go
But I got something to tell you
That I never thought I would
But I believe you really ought to know

I love you
I honestly love you

You don't have to answer
I see it in your eyes
Maybe it was better left unsaid
This is pure and simple
And you should realize
That it's coming from my heart and not my head

I love you
I honestly love you

I'm not trying to make you feel uncomfortable
I'm not trying to make you anything at all
But this feeling doesn't come along everyday
And you shouldn't blow the chance
When you've got the chance to say

I love you
I honestly love you

If we both were born
In anoother place and time
This moment might be ending in a kiss
But there you are with yours
And here I am with mine
So I guess we'll just be leaving it at this

I love you
I honestly love you

Go look for this beautiful song, I have both Olivia Newton's and Leslie Cheung's version.

Jiaozi was our dinner yesterday. Played 1 hour of badminton, and another hour of guitar + singing in front of ShaoYuan lawn. There were me, JF, XX and CY. Angel join our singing for a while. He played the Spanish song Love Only Once as I requested. I played Yue Liang Yuan when he talked the full moon gathering at the Unnamed Lake on Saturday night. The moment we finish singing was already 11pm. 4 of us decided to go for supper. And so we went out of the campus, to a small restaurant outside west gate. This is the first time I hang out so late for this semester! We had 30 bbq lamb stick and 8 chicken wings. hehehe~~ When it's approaching 11:45pm, we hurried and cycled back to ShaoYuan, guess what, we had to take shower before 12, cause no hot water supply after 12.

Today, after dinner at ChuanWei Zhai, went to block 9, called Cat's cellphone, ask her to look out of her window. 3 of us stood downstairs, shouting to 6th floor where she's quarantined after returning Beijing from Singapore. 2 more days to go, and she'll be "freed". JF is leaving tomorrow for Malaysia. It's almost the end of a semester. Also, almost the end of my 1st year's study in PKU. Time does fly.

Wake up at 12pm today. Finally completed 2 essays right on the last minute of deadline. While writing my essays, the online cinema was screening My Best Friend's Wedding, the one Julia Roberts casted. I stole a few minutes from my work to watch for a while. Boy, the songs in that movie were wonderful, especially "Say A Little Prayer For You", touched my heart so deeply. I'm gonna get the VCD as soon as i get back in KL.

I'm drowning... This essay thing seemed to be endless!!! After completing 5000 words about India issue, now I'm writing a 3000 words about Chinese Government and another 2000 words for tomorrow's so-called 'moral' class. And, 2 more essays for movie appreciation, due next Tuesday. The worst thing is, I just received an instruction to write 5000 words for E-Goverment. That's not the end, I have 3 papers for final exam next week, 1 Visual Basic assignment to complete before this weekend. You count for me how many words I have to write in total.

This is driving me crazy. Chinese education requires so much writing. I wonder how those Chinese students manage to write so much. Back home, we'll be given more time to write, and most of the time we were allowed to work in group. Here, everything is on my own. Time constrain is my headache. Producing words is like hatching eggs, to me. Have to sit for half a day then only come out with a few sentences. sigh...

I'm gonna hang myself.

Yesterday was terrible. CY used my PC for one WHOLE day to do his thesis. He needed to use Equation Editor, which is a special function of microsoft word to write his maths formula. Gosh... he worked from 10am till 2:45am!!! It was hard for me to concentrate on my books cause I felt really sleepy after 11pm. and, still have tons of work to do. Not sure if I could complete my essays on time or not.

Spend one afternoon in 3417, Mr. Xue's office. He's Q & A session was long enough for me to complete one essay. There were 3 already students in his room when I walked in. I planned to ask only 3 questions, but in the end, none of my question was answered. This fellow gave too much extra information, I don't think we need to know that much although I'm sure it's gonna be useful. He's definitely pro in photography, he could easily pick any relavant topic and elaborate for 2 hours!

There goes my 3 hours. uuuch!

I was supposed to spend my night on studying the book of I.Kant (great German philosopher) "Observations on the Feeling of the Beautiful and the Sublime". But, this weblogging thing is giving me so much fun~!

Things to do tomorrow: read the rest of the book, write at least 1 essay of 2300 words, submit my application for Minor in International Relations, and organize questions for PhotoJournalism, start preparing for another essay of 3000 words.

Gosh, I'm running short of time!

Angel (pronounced as ANG-HAEL, a Spanish name for male) knocked at my door when I was busy chattin with Sky over MSN. Gosh... my bush-like-hair looks horrible after shower, especially when it's not "tamed" with olive oil. Angel was here to send me a few newspaper cuttings about his country Venezuela.

Arrrgghhh... now I know, I should be prepared all the time, be ever-ready for unknown door-knocks. I don't want to be remembered as a scarry ugly duckling!

这个系统应该可以打中文吧?

Guess this is a good idea to force myself to write in English. I'm afraid I'll be losing this language if I don't put in any effort to improve since i'm not using it as frequent as before. Blogging is a new trend online. News articles, diaries, poems, emails etc. can be circulated by weblogs. I've been reading weblogs since Iraq-US War, but never realise how useful it is. Until recently, after knowing it better, i decided to give a try. This shall be a good tool for my family and friends to "keep track" of my life in Beijing. [provided i'm frank enough to publish everything, hehe ;) ]

Yesterday was raining, temperature turned down a little today. I definitely feel better after the rain. It's rare for Beijing to rain continuously for a few days. I just hope that the heat attack will be delayed by the rain, 'cause i really don't want to be bother by the heat when I need to crack my head to prepare for final exam.
